How did 2019 treat you? What are you grateful for? What new things do you want to accomplish? Are you happy? Have you accomplished everything you have set off to do from the previous year?
January always brings reflective thoughts that offer a fresh perspective for the new year ahead. New promises spring up, and conversations turn into resolutions that last for a short period of time and become a distant memory by the beginning of February.
If there is one thing I have learned in the past year, mistakes happen. It is ok to not finish what you started, take each lesson and grow. Remember those things that do not break us, will make us stronger with a purpose.
As we enter the New Year raise your glass, toast to new beginnings and a new you. Create a new mantra. The past is what it is “the past” leave it there and embrace the present.
Make resolutions a thing of your past, live your bucket list and maximize your life with new experiences along with new lessons filled with gratitude, patience, and love. Recognize that you don’t have to be that version of your old self. Compile your bucket list; draft your vision board, write that book, find that new job, fall in love, start that business and make your dreams a reality. Make 2020 the sequel to a greater victory. Force open all the doors that have been shut and leave defeat in the past.
Make your future a better version of yourself.
