BXFW DECADE OF DREAMS CHALLENGE

Exclusively for Bronx High School Seniors Only! We invite you to participate in the Bronx Fashion Week Decade of Dreams Challenge, an exciting opportunity to showcase your creativity and aspirations.

Every year, Bronx Fashion Week organizes a prom dress and suit drive to supply formal attire and accessories to young men and women at local high schools. This year in addition to providing scholars with prom attire, we would also like to offer a scholarship of $500 to two awardees.

In this contest, we invite you to delve into the depths of your imagination and share with us what your dreams and aspirations are.? What do you want to do in the future? Where do you see yourself going if there were no boundaries? You can either express this in the form of a 250-500 original written submission or you can also get creative with artwork. Original written submission can take the form of poems, raps, or short stories. Original artwork can be drawings, painting or digital artwork. All submissions must be original. Any submissions that are not original or are created using some form of AI will be disqualified. There will be a $500 prize given to the person who expressed themselves the best creatively and another $500 given to the best written submission. Additionally, winners will receive support from US Alliance and Making Money Movers NYC.

Prompt: What are your dreams and aspirations? What do you want to do in the future? Where do you see yourself going if there were no boundaries?

Deadline: April 12th 11:59pm, winners will be announced during the prom and suit give away taking place on May 4, from 12pm-4pm at The Bay Plaza Mall. The winner does not need to be present during the announcement to receive their prize.

How to submit: Submit via Google form at https://tinyurl.com/decadeofdreamschallenge

Prize: Winners will receive a $500 prize. Additionally, they will receive additional financial support and consultation from two local organizations. US Alliance is a local credit union. Making Money Movers NYC is a local financial literacy and education organization.
